[International] cooperative actions¹

13. In addition to the arrangements for enhanced international actions outlined above and recognizing that cooperative actions that promote the development and deployment of environmentally sound technologies should be conducted and acknowledged, Parties will, to the extent appropriate to, and consistent with, their national strategies:

(a) Promote participation in international programmes that support the development and use of common performance standards, testing, verification and certification programmes.
